Lessee... I've traveled. Been to England, lived in West Berlin when there was a West Berlin (If you were alive then, that's a big plus), northern Bavaria, Alaska, visited Austria, England, Panama, Grenada, Turkey, and lived in the Sinai desert for a year. Really learned to like the desert, and got to visit Cairo. Rode a bus around Israel, saw most of it except the West Bank and Haifa. My favorite cities were Berlin and Jerusalem, although I imagine both a very different now. I used to speak pretty good German, could get around in Hebrew, could find the bathroom in Arabic. But that was then... I sometimes have trouble with English, now. I've jumped out of airplanes at night, and was scuba certified in the Red Sea. Most of the basics are in my profile, but if interested: I like simple things. I feed the local feral cats on the back porch, along with a small family of possums, which are actually very cute until they turn around. I love to hang out in the backyard, listen to cicadas, watch the birds feed, and the squirrels & blue jays quarrel over the feeder. I prefer live music to DJs, theater over the latest blockbuster film. I drink way too much coffee. I don't really know what my 'type' would be. I know that humor, intelligence and kindness are the most important qualities to me, but I really do prefer fit/slender women. If you like to drink alcohol to excess often, we probably aren't a match. I'm a little shy, so patience would probably help, as well...
